The Pegasus Carriage is a type of magical contraption that levitates and is pulled by pegusi, giving outsider access to air travel.[1]
Description[edit | edit source]
It's a complex item, consisting of a carriage with 3 (possibly one, confirmation needed) magic glyphs, 2 drawn on the wheels and one mounted beneath the carriage. It is pulled through the air by a pair of pegusi and is able to both fly through the air and roll on the ground, the rear wheel with a pegasus carriage spell drawn upon it..[1]
It's likely only used by the wealthy, as it is likely too expensive for the average outsider to afford.
History[edit | edit source]
Moments before Qifrey and Coco first met, three wealthy outsider sisters arrived at Coco's Mother's shop in their father's pegasus carriage to purchase lace[2]. Not long after, two village boys accidentally broke the chariot [3], much to the sister's dismay, and Qifrey repaired the glyph for them [4]. The carriage made a second appearance in chapter 19, taking the members of Qifrey's Atelier to the Serpentback Cave for the test of The Sincerity of the Shield.
