Crystal Torch ^{[unofficial name]} is a contraption that works as a safe to handle torch.

Description

The crystal torch comprises of a Phantasmal Fireball enclosed inside a crystal. There are two variants, one with the crystal fixed atop a pole, and one where the crystals are a small, handheld size.

Handheld variant

The phantasmal fireball inside produces light but not heat, making the crystal torch only suitable as a light source, not a heat source.

History

Crystal Torch was first shown when Olruggio presented it during the Silver Eve Procession. It was created as way to make the Phantasmal Fireball safe to use after it was deemed too irresponsible to sell. The crystal element was added to it so people would understand that it was only safe to handle because the flame was covered with crystal; making the flame seem dangerous even when its not.
