Component Pestle is a tool used by witches in the making of conjuring ink.[1]

Used to crush and mix the ingredients used in conjuring ink. The component pestle allows witches to mix ingredients and magic dyes into their ink to give their ink, and the spells they make with it, special properties.[1] There are a plethora of effects ink can have such as preventing ink from running when wet, and making a spell last longer.[2] The tool itself is identical to a typical stone and pestle, with the pestle being used to grind the material between it and the stone wall of the bowl.

Coco was gifted a component pestle among other tools by Qifrey as part of her welcoming to his atelier.[1]
