Roaming Scallop Shells are a kind of scallop shell often used as a dye for conjuring ink. Due to their beauty, the shells are also kept for ornamental purposes.
Description[edit | edit source]
The shells are scalloped in shape and have a natural pointed cap design on both the inner and outer sides. They are about the size of an adult's hand.[1]
Uses[edit | edit source]
When the shells are ground up into powder and combined with Conjuring Ink, it will keep the ink from running when wet.[2]
Olruggio also created a contraption using one of the shells as a base to make the Magic Floating Dish,(Unofficial name) which can allow people to have hands-free snacks without needing a table, or to have in otherwise inconvenient places like while in the bath or a hammock.[3]
