Kindlecorn is a variety of black pepper with peppercorns shaped like roaring flames — and has a fiery kick to match. When freshly ground, it has a great aroma.[1]
History[edit]
Kindlecorn was introduced in Chapter 38 (Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen) when Olruggio secretly added it to his dinner, much to Tetia and Richeh's disapproval. It then sparked a discussion about spices and how people's taste in food can change over time, revealing that when Olruggio was young he too couldn't handle much spice in his food.[2]

- Qifrey kept a jar of ground kindlecorn with him when he and Olruggio would run away to the surface as kids, so he could add it to the meals they cooked. He could handle a lot more spice than Olruggio could.[2]
