Halftone Weed is an edible weed that sells for a lot of money.[1]
Description[edit | edit source]
Comprises of several big leaves with a protruding stem of small, round adornments that alternate between a light and dark color, giving the weed its name. When used as a marktea slip it has a sweet aroma, especially when paired with milk.[2] When made as a tea, it produces a deep black color.[3]
It's currently unknown which regions it is native to, however it has been mentioned that it doesn't grow in the Naakiwan Downs.[2]

Halftone Weed is among the plants that Tartah was teaching Custas about when he was hospitalized in Kalhn.[1]
When Qifrey's atelier was taste-testing marktea in a game of Hushtea, Halftea, made from halftone weed, was one of the slips offered.[2] When it was used in the game's final challenge, the girls recognized it immediately and referred to it as one of their favorites.[3]
