Chapter 42.5 is a bonus chapter from Volume 8.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Coco is introduced to Period Pieces and has them explained to her by Tetia. Qifrey and Olruggio then elaborate on how the Great Hall loans them out on special occasions, such as the Silver Eve festival, and how the four apprentices can choose whichever outfit they want to wear for the occasion.
Agott expresses how she believes fancy outfits are a waste of time when Silver Eve is about spells not outfits. This upsets Tetia who in turn defends them and explains how they can be a kind of magic as well. Through this explanation, Agott understands where Tetia is coming from and the two come to an agreement.
