Chapter Three of Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Qifrey is sleeping on the couch when Olruggio wakes him up. Reminding him of the field trip he has planned with the girls later that morning, Qifrey panics because he's forgotten to make their lunch. Racing the clock, the two work together to make a set of sandwiches each. Qifrey makes grilled egg and cheese, while Olruggio makes Rhinocerox steak and veggie burgers. Sharing pots and breadcrumbs as they work, they get the job done as the sun rises. But as Qifrey finishes packing the sandwiches into the picnic basket, Olruggio passes out and hits the floor from exhaustion. The girls arrive in the kitchen to find Qifrey holding Olruggio up.
Qifrey and the girls leave for their field trip, and later Olruggio wakes up on the couch. A covered plate of the sandwiches wait for him on the table. Taking a bite of each one, he compliments how good they turned out while out in the field, Qifrey and the girls also sit down for lunch.

Translation Notes[edit | edit source]
- When Qifrey and the girls leave the Atelier near the end of the chapter, in Japanese Qifrey glances back at the house to thank Olruggio and say that they'll be on their way. In the English translation, Olruggio's name is omitted so Qifrey instead says, "My friend."
