Chapter Four of the first volume of the Witch Hat Atelier manga series.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Coco is now at the foot of the Dadah Range. She decided to use Agott's shoes in order to float to get to the peak of the mountains. Coco managed to float but was unsuccessful in being stable making her grab a vine hanging from a mountain. She was then surprised by the sudden appearance of the brushbuddy which resulted in her falling onto the water below.
Because of the fall, Coco was not able to use the shoes since the glyph was washed away and the magic ink she brought spilled out.
Qifrey is at the Great Hall to pick up something. Alaira told Qifrey that he did not have to go out all the way to the auditorium to pick up something and he may bring all his disciples. Qifrey then responded that he will go to the auditorium only when necessary. Alaira responded that she can see that Qifrey has still hatred for the auditorium.
Meanwhile at the atelier, Tetia asked Agott if she had seen Coco and Agott revealed that Coco went to Dada Mountains.
Coco is sulking after what happened but remembered what Qifrey told her about her magic when they first met. Coco then proceeded to search for a flat and pointy little rock. She took the ink-soaked pouch and tear it enough to cover the rock and dip it in water to get it a bit wet to make a pigment stone. Then, Coco drew on the cloak. Coco was able to finish the glyph by morning.
Qifrey returned to the atelier and Tetia told him that Coco went to the Dada Mountains to take the test. Shocked by the announcement, Qifrey connected the gate window to the Dada Mountains only to find Coco standing while holding the diadem herb. Coco then showed the crown plant to Agott and offered it to her but Agott refused.
After that, Qifrey brought Coco her witch clothes. A Brimmed Hat Witch was seen standing at top of Dada Mountains and said the sentence "The seed has sprouted."
