Chapter 62.5 is a bonus chapter from Volume 11 of the Witch Hat Atelier manga series.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Olruggio is struggling to find a way to complete his current spell commission. He eventually cracks and goes on a break and procrastinates. While looking through the window, he wonders what the others have gotten up but ends up dozing off. Olruggio ends up having a nightmare about when he was a kid and wasn't able to save everyone in a blizzard. After a moment of shock/terror he settles and thinks on how in comparison, artists block is nothing and how his and Qifrey's apprentices will eventually have to face situations like that themselves.
Qifrey and the girls arrive home at the atelier to see leaping deers made out of light. They ask Olruggio what they're for and Olruggio says there's no reason for them and it was just something he wanted to get down. He then complains how its only doodles he can focus on and draw instead of his actual work.

- This chapter was published for the 5th anniversary of the series.[2]
- Despite originally following the release of Chapter 51 which is published in Volume 9, this chapter was not included as a bonus chapter until Volume 11.[3]
- At 16 pages, this chapter is tied with Chapter 68.5 for longest bonus chapter to date, at 16 pages. This happens to be longer than the series' shortest main chapter—Chapter 74—which only has 12 pages. The longest main chapter to date is Chapter 1, at 62 pages.
