Summary[edit | edit source]
Vinanna tells Easthies to calm down so that she can explain how they came to the decision to use the counterclock seal. Easthies starts fighting her again, calling her a fool, and asking if she has forgotten the oath. He declares that he will destroy the contraption and any other ideas as it is his duty as a knight; and to preserve order.
The two crash near Coco who uses magic to stop bricks from falling on Vinnana. Coco shouts at Easthies for wanting to destroy the contraption despite its ability to save people. Easthies objects saying that even if it saves hundreds today, thousands in the futute may suffer from it. Coco expresses how it can be difficult to live under the principles and be unable to help others.
Using his Capture Penant with a Sinsinger's Talons spell, Easthies tries to catch coco in order to erase her memory. Vinanna catches it before it can touch Coco and she tells her to run to Beldaruit. Vinanna is caught in its grasp instead.
Easthies yells after Coco about how he is going to erase the memory of everyone involved in the creation of the contraption.
