Chapter Fifteen of Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Olruggio is at the Great Hall following the events at the Staircase River, being celebrated by some nearby witches. He is called out to by someone who refers to him as their favorite customer. Back at the atelier, Qifrey is showing off a treat to the girls that Olruggio brought back. He is operating a Pointed Cap Pastry stand at home, using many of the exact same ingredients of the stall at the Great Hall. Olruggio used to be a regular customer at the stall, and still likes to get one whenever he visits the hall. This time, he got carried today as they are celebrating something. Tetia asks what they're celebrating, but is ignored by Olruggio, and Qifrey starts taking orders. Richeh jumps in front and gets her usual order. The other girls take some time to think.
- - Richeh: Saltpork, honey, and cheese
- - Coco: Carapace Yam, minced meat, and marinara sauce
- - Tetia: Mountain Apple, berry preserves, and strained yogurt
- - Agott: Salted butter, stewed Marmalade Lemons, and sliced nuts
Qifrey asks for Olruggio's order, but he plans to make his own, something he claims only real connoisseurs know about. He plops in some whipped cream, various types of fruit, and alternates layers of whipped cream and fruit. He slices the peels of some Willowgrapes in a striped pattern, and places the grapes and some pudding from the same pastry vendor on top. He uses a fire spell to brûlée the top of the pudding. Olruggio enjoys his treat, and turns to the others to find the girls staring at him menacingly. Tetia says "not fair" to the confusion of Olruggio. The girls didn't know they could choose more than three fillings. Qifrey elects Olruggio to take over the stall, to his surprise, but takes over nonetheless with enthusiasm.
