Chapter Fifty Seven of the Witch Hat Atelier manga series.
Summary[edit | edit source]
The chapter opens to Galga who's being treated for a head injury after being found by his worried boyfriend Atwert. Easthies questions Galga and he confirms that all his memories have been erased to the point where he doesn't know who he is. Atwert, who's still very scared asks what is going to become of Galga, to which Vinnana responds. She says that since all traces of magic have seemingly been erased from his memory, and as a consequence most aspects of life, he would not be able to keep living as a witch and will have to be sent to Adanlee, the Isle of Oblivion. This upsets Atwert, who is desperate to save his partner, and pleads to Vinanna for some other solution. However there is none, as recovering memories would fall under healing magic, which is forbidden. After arguing with Vinanna, Easthies, and Utowin and receiving no other solution, Atwert storms off, vowing that he'll find his own way to restore Galga's memories. The Knights Moralis meanwhile express how they're going to find out who did this and make them pay.
The chapter cuts to Richeh and Tetia helping run Nolnoa's stall. They both don't want to stop but at Olruggio's insistence they do. Agott shows Olruggio her new seal. Qifrey tells the girls to come outside and look at the Golden Eve Procession, a parade for the leaders of Outsiders. Tetia hides from Eoleo when she spots him on a float, and Tartah notes how the King isn't in the parade. Cutting to later that night, when Agott is about to go to sleep she finds Coco still awake and being unable to draw.
