Chapter Six of the second volume of the Witch Hat Atelier manga series.

After being spotted by the giant scaled dragon, Tetia, Agott, Richeh, and Coco make a run for it. Agott uses a fire rune spell with a whirlwind keystone from her circle notebook and shoots the dragon with it, distracting it long enough for them to run, only for to reach a dead end. Tetia panics, afraid that she will die, and has an outburst, indirectly blaming Coco for their situation. As soon as she does, she realizes what she had said, and feels guilty.
Tetia, after calming down, draws an flying puppet of diversion spell, using it to send her cloak zipping into the air, distracting the dragon once more and buying them some time. Agott starts to draw a wall breaker seal on the wall to bust through, and Coco notices something on the side of a tower. She taps Agott on the shoulder to tell her, but accidentally makes her mess up the wall breaker seal. Agott snaps, and yells some hurtful things at Coco, blaming her for everything.(add ref) Richie draws a wall breaker seal on the wall, creating a tunnel through it so they can pass through. Agott then more or less tells Richie and Tetia to leave Coco behind, and they enter the tunnel. Tetia hesitates, but when aggot tells her to follow, but inevitably leaves without saying anything. Coco, still standing outside the tunnel, picks up Tetia's hat, which she left behind, and wonders what she should do.
Meanwhile, Qifrey, Tartah, and Mr. Nolnoa are searching for the girls. Qifrey asks Tartah if he remembered anything about the witch he saw, beliving it to be a lead to find the girls, but Tartah can't remember anything else other than what he had already told Qifrey. Suddenly, the bushbuddy that came back with Coco runs over to them. They follow the brushbuddy, thinking that it might be leading them to the girls.
Tetia, Agott, Coco and Richeh, despite having traveled far, end up back at Richie's tunnel through the wall several times, unable to escape the area, is if they were magically trapped in a labyrinth. With night drawing near, they decide to find a place to sleep, and they stop to rest. Coco notices Tetia sitting against a wall, shivering in the cold of the approaching night without her cloak, as she used it to distract the dragon. Coco gives Tetia her own cloak and returns her hat, telling Tetia that she is sorry that she put them in danger. Tetia responds by casting a spell of her own invention that envelops her and Coco in warm fluffy clouds, so Coco won't be cold, and she apologizes to Coco, saying she was sorry for blaming her earlier. Richie and Agott join them inside the cloud, Agott explaining that the entire area must be under some kind of magic, as no matter how far they go, they always end up in the same place, so there must be a glyph casting that spell, and Coco says that she thinks she might have seen one earlier.
The girls all take a peek at where Coco remembers seeing the glyph, and while they find it, the dragon is blocking their path. That's when Coco proposes a plan to the rest of the group to combat the dragon (we aren't told what her plan is until the next chapter). They all agree that it might work, and they prepare to put it into action.
