Chapter 68.5 is a bonus chapter from Volume 12 of the Witch Hat Atelier manga series.
Summary[edit | edit source]
Euini and Alaira are living in the outdoors together after the events of the second test where Euini got transformed into a scalewolf against his will. Alaira chastises Euini for sleeping in his wolf form and it's revealed that Euini does so because people or other creatures wont approach them due to fear and that he feels more confident presenting as a scalewolf in general. Alaira encourages Euini to use magic to solve his problems, such as by creating a spell that would alert them when others are close, as this should be a time of learning instead of taking the easy way out. Alaira encourages him to focus on the near future instead of the distant future so he can better focus on what kind of person he wants to be. Alaira comments on Euini's height which causes him to think back to his last encounter with Richeh. This causes Euini to strengthen his resolve and he exclaims that he wants to do his best and improve his self-confidence. Alaira comments on how she enjoys being a teacher to Euini.

- At 16 pages, this chapter is tied with Chapter 62.5 for longest bonus chapter to date, at 16 pages. This happens to be longer than the series' shortest main chapter—Chapter 74—which only has 12 pages. The longest main chapter to date is Chapter 1, at 62 pages.
