Summary[edit | edit source]
Agott is knocked back by the Valance Leech, only to be caught by Riliphin who uses a shield spell to block the leech, while a number of adult witches rush in to help. The new arrivals quickly organize to distract the leech and finish adding column signs to the remaining stages, all while explaining they couldn't stand to watch the apprentices work so hard while doing nothing themselves.
Agott expresses concern for the injured Lord Beldaruit, noting that Riliphin has left him behind, but Riliphin assures her that Richeh and Tetia have it covered. Richeh has used her crystal ribbons to tightly bind Beldaruit's broken arm in a makeshift cast, and Tetia has replaced his broken sealchair using her bed of sand. He mentions that it was Beldaruit himself who encouraged Riliphin to be brave and step in. Riliphin then compliments Agott and the others for their own bravery, which brought everyone else together.
Lord Lagrah then observes that sitting back and not helping is contrary to the very nature of witches, and as he marks the final platform, the stages begin to spin rapidly, activating a perfect circle.
Olruggio and Qifrey use their Boilfire Dragon to lead the Valance Leech straight up the center of the giant Counterclock spell, and all those assembled look on in awe as the leech finally disappears.

- The Morning Two magazine chapter cover features a unique phrase that's not included in the volume releases. It reads,「描いた分だけ 増える希望」and can be translated as, "Hope that increases as much as I draw."
